2011 was the fifth year of the Dublin Forum on International Commercial Arbitration..
Having completed three consecutive years addressing antitrust and arbitration, in 2010 the Forum had a focus on Intellectual Property. In 2011 the Forum took a more generic theme. The focus was on recent developments in institutional rules (UNCITRAL, ICC, WIPO, AAA, JAMS) and important changes in the regulatory environment resulting from EU initiatives in ADR and the revision of Brussels 1 Regulation.
As in 2010, the scope of discussion was widened beyond arbitration to include mediation/ADR and other forms of dispute resolution.
The format remained the same as previous years with the emphasis on informed discussion and participation by everyone attending.
